About me

I am a lawyer licensed to practice law in California, including the Supreme Court of California. I am also admitted to practice in federal courts, including the Southern District of California, the Central District of California, and the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

I was born across the river from Philadelphia, but I have spent most of my life in California. I returned to Philadelphia to get an Ivy League education, but I finished my college degree here in Southern California. I went to California Western School of Law and graduated with a Concentration in Criminal Prosecution and Defense Practice, with Honors. During law school, and while waiting for bar results, I interned at the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office. There, I worked on cases ranging from as minor as fishing without a license to as major as the prosecution of the Board members of the San Diego City Employees’ Retirement System.
